Criteria for Service

• The recipient must be a resident of Alamance County.
• The recipient must be over 60 years of age.
  
• The recipient must be homebound, due to age, disability, or illness. 
• The recipient must live alone. If living with someone else, all persons in the household must meet the same criteria.
• The recipient must receive less than 20 hours of in-home aid per week.

Our lunch program delivers a balanced, nutritious meal to our neighbors who struggle to prepare an appropriate meal for themselves. Our volunteers deliver hot meals five days a week. Some of our outlying recipients receive a box weekly, with five frozen meals.
